The Regional Premiere of The Film GOD WILL NOT HELP

The regional premiere of the film GOD WILL NOT HELP by Hana Jušić, will continue the Competition Programme - Feature Film of the 31st Sarajevo Film Festival tonight at 7 p.m. at the National Theater Sarajevo. The film premiered in the Competition Program of the 78th Locarno International Film Festival.

 

Teresa, a Chilean woman, comes to a firmly structured and isolated mountain community of Croatian shepherds in the early twentieth century, claiming to be the widow of their émigré brother. Her arrival has a significant impact on the dynamics among the members of the community, and brings with it unrest as well as inspiration for other women.
