A total of 54 films will compete for the Heart of Sarajevo awards at the 30th Sarajevo Film Festival, and three films will be shown out of competiton.
The Festival’s four competition sections – for feature, documentary, short and student film – will feature 19 world, 9 international, 3 European, 21 regional and 3 national premieres.
The Jury of the Competition Programme – Documentary Film at the 30th Sarajevo Film Festival will consist of producer Mandy Chang, festival director Marek Hovorka, and director, writer and producer Wang Xiaoshuai.
The Jury of the Competition Programme – Short Film at the 30th Sarajevo Film Festival will consist of producer Anamria Antoci, director Flora Anna Buda, and director and producer Burak Çevik.
The Jury of the Competition Programme – Student Film at the 30th Sarajevo Film Festival will consist of director Anna Gymesi, film curator Delphine Jeanneret, and director Ivan Ramljak.
The Jury of the Competition Programme – Feature Film at the 30th Sarajevo Film Festival will consist of director and screenwriter Paul Schrader (president), actor Sebastian Cavazza, director, writer and editor Una Gunjak, director and writer Juho Kuosmanen, and actress and producer Noomi Rapace.
The 30th Sarajevo Film Festival will open on Friday, August 16 with a ceremony at the
Sarajevo National Theatre and a series of events leading up to it.
