The Avantpremiere Series programme gives Sarajevo Film Festival audiences an exclusive opportunity to preview selected episodes of high-quality regional drama series, which will have their television debuts in the upcoming Fall/Winter season, on the silver screen.
The drama series presented in the AvantPremiere Series programme are in competition for the Audience Award, and will be eligible for the Heart of Sarajevo for TV Series after their official television premiere. The series screened in previous editions of the AvantPremiere Series programme recorded large viewership and international success, and some of them were awarded the Heart of Sarajevo!
The programme is a gathering place for drama series producers, distributors and viewers. In its two sections, AvantPremiere Series and AvantPremiere Lab, the program is focused on screeners, film distribution, as well as on promotion and placement of drama series from the region.
