Call for Entries for the 7th Edition of the Docu Rough Cut Boutique

Docu Rough Cut Boutique is a joint programme created by Sarajevo Film Festival and Balkan Documentary Center. It is focused exclusively on documentary films from the region of South East Europe and Caucasus, which are currently in post-production.

From its 2017 edition the programme includes two working modules, beginning in June in Sofia with tutorials and expert individual and group feedback sessions for the selected projects, and culminates in August in Sarajevo with additional feedback sessions and closed screenings and one-on-one meetings at CineLink Industry Days.

Timeline:
Project Submission Deadline: 31 May 2017
Module Sofia: 21-25 June
Module Sarajevo: 12-16 August 

Awards:
IDFA award – invitation to IDFA, presentation of the project to experts in Amsterdam
Digital Cube Romania - 20 000 EUR in-kind post production service
Cat and Docs France - 2000 EUR
DOK Preview - invitation to DOK Leipzig and presentation of the project and more, which will be announced further.

Fees:
The fee for the selected projects in 2017 is 400 euros per team* and it covers for both of the modules:
• Tuition
• Accommodation and subsistence
• Partial Travel bursary for module Sarajevo

*A Team consist of director and editor. The producer could also attend if he/she covers the additional subsistence expenses.
