60 Participants Selected for Talents Sarajevo 2024
Among the 60 participants selected, representing 16 out of 20 eligible nations, Greece, Romania, and Turkey lead with the highest number of applicants, totaling 540
The Sarajevo Film Festival unveils a lineup of directors, producers, screenwriters, actors, cinematographers, editors, and film critics from Southeast Europe and the Southern Caucasus for 18th edition of Talents Sarajevo, under the banner of ART/FICIAL. Among the 60 participants selected, representing 16 out of 20 eligible nations, Greece, Romania, and Turkey lead with the highest number of applicants, totaling 540.
ART/FICIAL, an integral component of the 30th Sarajevo Film Festival, offers participants access to an array of master classes, lectures, seminars, discussions, workshops, and film screenings. The program, comprising eight modules mentored by renowned international industry experts, includes the Directors Summit, Producers Summit, Acting Studio, Camera Studio, Editing Studio, Pack & Pitch, Script Station, and Talent Press.
Talents Sarajevo, a cornerstone of the CineLink Industry Days' training and skill development program, is also affiliated with Berlinale Talents, having been launched in 2006 in collaboration with the Berlin International Film Festival. Beyond providing a platform for young filmmakers to hone their craft and network, Talents Sarajevo facilitates engagement with established industry professionals, addresses prevailing trends and challenges, and fosters connections within the global film community.
