35 World and 4 International Premieres in BH Film Programme

This year's BH FILM programme organized by Association of Filmmakers in Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in its 18th edition held within 29th Sarajevo Film Festival will present 64 films: 8 feature narrative films, 1 omnibus, 14 feature documentaries, 30 short fiction and documentaries, and 11 student films.

The highlight of the programme is the Student Competition section gathering and presenting films made by students from BiH film academies and faculties. This year 11 films from Bosnian and Herzegovinian film schools and academies are competing for the three awards (Best Student Film, Special Jury Prize and Special Mention). This year’s Jury deciding about best Bosnian and Herzegovinian student films are costume designer Lena Samardžić, director Alen Šimić and dramaturg and scriptwriter Dario Bevanda. 

This year’s BH Film programme will present 35 World, 4 International and 3 Regional Premieres.

BH Film Programme is dedicated to promotion of BiH cinema and is an important platform for the BiH film authors from all over the world.
