Spotlight on Poland — 31st Sarajevo Film Festival

The Sarajevo Film Festival is proud to present this year’s Spotlight on Poland, in partnership with the Polish Film Institute.

Poland has positioned itself as one of Europe’s most dynamic hubs for audiovisual innovation where bold storytelling meets cutting-edge production models, and where technology and creativity increasingly converge. From virtual production to cross-sector IP development and new financing instruments, Poland’s audiovisual sector is rapidly evolving and actively setting trends across the continent.

This spotlight aims to highlight not only the strength of Poland’s co-production potential but also the innovative frameworks, tools, and production companies that drive its industry forward. The country’s strong institutional architecture, combined with a new generation of production and tech companies, makes it a natural partner for regional collaboration and experimentation.

The Polish delegation brings together professionals from film, post-production, animation, digital storytelling, and tech-enhanced formats. Over the course of the week, they will participate in CineLink Industry Days joining over 1,200 international film professionals for curated one-to-one meetings, networking sessions, and the market’s co-production forums.

The delegation will also take part in the CineLink Talks conference programme and the Talents Innovation Forum, a new platform connecting emerging and established professionals working at the intersection of storytelling and technology, designed to foster forward-looking dialogue on the future of creative production.
