THE SEARCH at HT Eronet Open Air Cinema
Don't miss THE SEARCH, tonight (18 August) in the Open Air programme.
THE SEARCH takes place during the Chechen War in 1999. After his parents are killed, a small boy flees his village. He meets Carole, a European Union delegation head, and little by little, with her help, he will return to life. At the same time, his older sister, Raïssa searches tirelessly for him amongst the civilian exodus.
THE SEARCH recounts a powerful story of conflict told through four lives that will be brought together by a shocking twist of fate.
After the success in 1993 of his first TV film, LA CLASSE AMÉRICAINE, Michel Hazanavicius began to play with film codes and genres, hijacking the dialogues of well-known films from the period 1950-1980.
In 2012, Michel Hazanavicius won the Oscar for Best Director for THE ARTIST, becoming the second French director, nine years after Roman Polanski, to win this prestigious award.
Join us tonight at the HT Eronet Open Air Cinema, at 20:30. Our guests, director Michel Hazanavicius and actress Bérénice Bejo, will join us.
