CineLink Drama Opens Call for Entries
With this Call, we are looking for series projects in development and financing stages. The project submission deadline is February 23rd, 2024.
Sarajevo Film Festival & CineLink Industry Days are proud to announce the Call for entries for CineLink Drama 2024. The project submission deadline is February 23rd, 2024.
With this Call, we are looking for series projects in development and financing stages. Projects can be at an early stage, but should at least have a producer, writer and a director/creator attached when applying.
In order to apply to CineLink Drama it is required to send the following materials: project bible and treatment or the pilot script of the first episode (2 materials needed).
Applications that do not meet this criteria will not be considered for final selection.
The official language of the CineLink Drama is English, therefore to be eligible for the consideration, the application and all other required materials must be submitted in English language.
The final selection will be announced by April 2024.
Selected projects will take part in an online development workshop (May 6-10, 2024) to work with script editors, discuss their financing and production plans, devise marketing strategies and work on the general presentation of their projects with top industry professionals.
The participants will also attend a tailor made workshop during CineLink Industry Days (August 17-22, 2024), as well as online meetings with industry professionals as an activity in September.
CineLink's dedicated team will regularly follow up with the filmmakers from April to August 2024 to prepare their participation in the CineLink Drama Pitch during the 30th Sarajevo Film Festival (August 16-23, 2024).
By taking part in CineLink Drama you will:
• Get a chance to further develop your project with prominent script consultants, commissioning editors and other film professionals;
• Present your project in the open pitching session to the regional and European decision makers, followed by one-on-one meetings;
• Gain insights in the TV drama series landscape;
• Gain international visibility for your project;
• Get a chance to win a CineLink Drama development award.

- Female Voices Award Sponsored by Slovenian Film Centre (Award in the amount of 10.000 €, CineLink Co-Production Market & CineLink Drama);
- Croatian Audiovisual Center Drama Award (Award in the amount of 15.000 €);
- TV Drama Vision Pitch Award.
