21st Sarajevo Film Festival Competition Programme - Short Film Jury members are:

MARION DÖRING
European Film Academy Director (Germany)

Marion Döring studied French and Portuguese at the University of Mainz from 1972 to 1975 and from 1976 to 1979 she worked as a trainee and later editor at the daily newspapers Fuldaer Zeitung and Hessisch/Niedersächsische Allgemeine. Between 1980 and 1985 she worked as free-lance journalist in Berlin, from 1985 to 1988 as press attaché of the “750 Years Anniversary Berlin 1987“ and “Berlin – European Capital of Culture 1988“. She has been connected to the European Film Academy since its foundation in 1988: first as PR manager of the European Film Awards, later as project manager for the Academy’s activities and publications, and since 1996 as the Academy’s director. Since 2004, she has also been the producer of the European Film Awards, since 2006 managing director of EFA Productions GmbH, the company producing the Awards together with the European Film Academy, and since 2012 the producer of the EFA Young Audience Award.


UNA GUNJAK
Director and film editor (UK)

Una Gunjak was born and raised in Sarajevo. She studied in Italy and then in the UK, graduating as editor from the National Film and TV School. Previously, Una has extensively worked as drama and documentary editor and has occasionally directed commercials. Her short film THE CHICKEN, aside from winning the last years' Heart of Sarajevo', also won the EFA Award for Best European Short, after premiering in Critics' Week 2014. It has been screened at more than 150 festivals including Sundance Film Festival and New Director, New Films. Una Gunjak is currently developing her first feature as part of the Cannes Cinefondation Residence.


ALICE KHAROUBI
Head of Cannes Film Festival Short Films (France)

After studying communication in France and USA, Alice Kharoubi started to collaborate with the organization of the Festival de Cannes, working for the Marché du Film. She is now Head of Cannes Court Métrage an entity dedicated to Short Films developed by the Festival de Cannes. Simoultaneously, she was the short film programmer for the Abu Dhabi Film Festival since its creation and is the international shorts programmer for Festival Tous Ecrans in Geneva, Switzerland. Kharoubi is also part of selection committees and has participated as a jury member at festivals all over the world.
