CineLink reveals 2013 Work in Progress selection and adds two projects to Co-Production Market

Six out of close to 40 submitted projects have made the final cut for the CineLink Work in Progress section, taking place in Sarajevo on August 21-22. The Work in Progress sessions present fresh and promising upcoming films currently in post-production to top decision-makers from the European film industry.

This year's projects come from Georgia, Greece, Israel, Kosovo, Romania and Turkey.

The seventh additional project will be announced during the festival – a documentary selected from the Docu Rough Cut Boutique, the workshop organized by the Festival’s Documentary Competition Programme in collaboration with the Balkan Documentary Center.

Two major awards are presented in the Work in Progress section:
The Post Republic Award – services worth EUR 80.000
The Restart Award – services worth EUR 20.000

2013 Jury: Rebekka Garrido, Managing Director, The  Post Republic; Zsuzsi Bánkuti Acquisition Manager, The Match Factory, and Arnaud Gourmelen, Selection Committee member at Quinzaine des Réalisateurs.

CineLink takes place during Sarajevo Film Festival on August 21-24, and is a development and financing platform for carefully selected regional feature-length fiction films destined for European co-production. Its activities are spread throughout the year and its aim is to provide a platform designed to meet the current needs and expectations of Southeast Europe’s film industry in reshaping.

CineLink is attended by around 500 industry professionals from across Europe and presents in total around 30 carefully selected projects open for co-production, as well as networking opportunities for the regional and European film industry.
