Call for Entries: CineLink Drama 2025 at Sarajevo Film Festival's CineLink Industry Days

We are seeking TV series projects in the development and financing stages. While projects may be in the early stages, applicants must have a creator, producer and writer attached at the time of submission.

Sarajevo Film Festival and CineLink Industry Days are pleased to announce the Call for Entries for CineLink Drama 2025. The deadline for project submissions is February 21, 2025.

We are seeking TV series projects in the development and financing stages. While projects may be in the early stages, applicants must have a creator, producer and writer attached at the time of submission.

Selected projects will participate in an onsite development workshop in Slano (June 16-20, 2025), held in synergy with Slano Film Days. During this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to collaborate with script editors, discuss their financing and production plans, devise marketing strategies, and refine the overall presentation of their projects with leading industry professionals. Additionally, participants will attend a tailored workshop during CineLink Industry Days in August, culminating in a CineLink Drama Pitch, as well as online meetings with key industry professionals in September.

Notable CineLink Drama released series include: The Last Socialist Artefact (Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Finland, CineLink Drama 2017, winner of Series Mania’s Best International Series 2021), Operation Sabre (Serbia, Bulgaria, CineLink Drama 2019, Canneseries - Best Interpretation Award 2024, Beta Film), Silence (Croatia, Germany, Ukraine, CineLink Drama 2016, Beta Film), Snow (Austria, CineLink Drama 2019, Berlinale Series Market 2023, Beta), and Hollow (Bosnia and Herzegovina, CineLink Drama 2016, winner of 6 Heart of TV Series Awards, including Best Drama Series in 2023).

• Council of Europe Series Co-Production Development Award (€50,000)

• Croatian Audiovisual Center Drama Award: €15,000.

• TV Drama Vision Pitch Award

• Female Voices Award (sponsored by Slovenian Film Centre and UN Women): €20,000 (Cross-section Award for CineLink Co-Production Market & CineLink Drama).

Application Requirements:

To apply for CineLink Drama, please submit the following materials:

1. Project Bible

2. Treatment for the entire season 

3. Pilot script for the first episode.

Please note: The official language of CineLink Drama is English. All applications and materials must be submitted in English to be eligible for consideration. Applications that do not meet this requirement will not be considered.

Final selection will be announced by the end of April 2025.
