The new season of the comedy The Tender was shown "People think we spied on their company and made a series"

As part of the Avant Premiere Series programme, which focuses on the promotion of series from the former Yugoslavia, during the 30th Sarajevo Film Festival on Tuesday, August 20, the first episode of the third season of the series Tender was shown.

The series follows the events behind the scenes of public procurement. At the center of the series is a three-member commission composed according to the "national key". The only thing that this trio agrees on is the desire for wealth. The conversation was attended by Srđan Vuletić, Edin Krehić, and part of the cast - Aida Bukva, Tarik Džinić, Anja Kraljević, Anđela Kusić, Robert Krajinović, and Branko Janković.

"It was different to work in the new season. Each of us has a special sensibility. A special look at the episode, at the end of the episode. We especially look at some parallel stories that go along with that main theme. All this contributed to a new quality. There were some new stories that might never have occurred to individuals," said Vuletić.

The creator of the series, Srđan Vuletić, tried to bring something original in this series, something that the BiH audience is not used to. The series was produced by BH Telekom and was a success throughout the region. The script of the series is signed by several authors, with the intention of creating opportunities for young authors to show their talent.

"I want to change the system of work on sitcoms here. In our country, it was customary for one writer and one director to go. I thought that we should introduce the system used in America, which is actually the homeland of sitcoms. They use a lot of writers and a lot of directors," says Vuletić.

The new season of the THE TENDER series focuses on group dynamics, and explores the relationships between male and female colleagues in the office. The series team explores themes that don't often appear in regional series. The dynamics of collegiality and friendship are explored, and a special focus is placed on the love stories of the main characters.

"I'm glad that the writers decided to balance male and female relationships. I think that kind of balance is necessary and adds to the story. I think that some topics were tried for the first time that we haven't had the chance to see before," said Aida Bukva, who portrays Branka, a character we all know.

This season of THE TENDER also set certain new trends in the creation of sitcoms that also represented a challenge for the cast. One of them was the creation of an episode of the series where the only way of communication was through text messages, which for Vuletić represents everyday life in today's companies.
