The continuation of the collaboration between the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Science and Talents Sarajevo
The collaboration between the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Science and Talents Sarajevo (formerly Sarajevo Talent Campus) continues. Talents Sarajevo have had the honor to host two extraordinary members of the Academy.
Hawk Koch, a veteran movie producer, the former President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science and President Emeritus of the Producers Guild of America led the participants of Talents Sarajevo (actors, directors, scriptwriters, producers, film critics and cinematographers) through the maze of Hollywood filmmaking. In the session moderated by Academy Award nominated filmmaker Michele Ohayon, he reflected on his work, working on studio and non studio movies, as well as changing market today.
Melissa Leo, the actress who, over the years, has received numerous accolades for her work, including the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role (The Fighter, 2010), met with a small group of actors for an informal talk about the numerous challenges of their profession.
Talents Sarajevo is a six-day networking platform for up-and-coming actors, directors, scriptwriters, producers, film critics and cinematographers from Southeast Europe and Southern Caucasus taking place in the frame of Sarajevo Film Festival.
